I am very happy with Spinryde’s work on our bathroom. Each of their tradesmen were highly professional, courteous and likeable.

Completing job to quoted timeframe of 34 days. Large portion of job finished in 51 days but one hour of work remained outstanding for more than 2 months. This was despite repeated unanswered emails and access being available throughout this period. Communication skills need to improve dramatically. Even the owner of the company does respond to emails.

Over the years we have used many builders/renovators however on this occasion found Spinryde Home Renovations & Maintenance to be the best. The overall project cost was in excess of $30k which included opening up a veranda, removing three posts and installing a steel beam across this section; pouring a concrete slab; plus tiling and erection of a stratco awning – approx area 4.5m x 8.0m. From the outset we found the Spinryde personnel to be knowledgeable in their work; upfront with the scope of works; integrity in their communication and detailed costings. We were always kept informed as to progress and Council compliance and approval. When the job commenced a supervisor was on site each day. The high level of workmanship of their subcontractors was a compliment to the building industry. We would highly recommend Spinryde.

They’ve just finished up a project for us and it was honestly a pleasure and we’re very happy with the result.

John has been professional and easy to communicate with throughout the project. He was not only great at understanding what we were after, but more importantly, he was patient and took the time to explain and discuss any issues that came up. At no point in the project did his attention to detail or availability waver, and I find that consistency invaluable. He was reasonable with variations and adjustments, costings were honest and accurate. I would not hesitate to use them
again for future projects.

The builders and trades that have come in have all been great. They work well as a team and they all take pride in what they’re doing and genuinely care to do a good job. I think that’s rare in this field.  On top of that, my wife was pleased that they tidied up after themselves well, which has made our lives easier given that we were living in the house as the extension was being built.

Another word of praise must go to the work ethic and speed in which the project was executed. We had expected (and have had previous experience with) builders and trades in the current market to take their time and be missing in action for extended periods. The SpinRyde team however, took to the project like ants to a cake, and made great progress throughout. We’ve had many compliments from neighbours on the street commend on how swiftly and efficiently the build had taken
place. The quality of their build is also excellent, and council inspection was impressed with the final result.
